Yeah man..
To me there was several different video game era's for me.
As a child the home odessey2, Atari and even the large home games that took D cell batteries.
Then walking to arcades with my brother.
I actually got a Nintendo from a dude that crashed his Honda crx and wanted it fixed.
I offered to fix it in exchange for a new Nintendo and a couple games.. I was 16
Never really played it though..
Part time job in a bowling alley in my town . I cleaned lanes and handed out shoes and stuff.
End of the day my brother would be bowling . Id be playing arcade machines.
My brother bought a sega master system and I bought a Turbografx 16
When I got older I was making way more money so I was able to buy the shit I couldn't as a kid.
I filled half my house up with American and import videogames.
I still drove to arcades on a sunday night , sometimes I took my son.
Just jump in the car even if it was snowing and drive to the bowling alley to play pinbot and double dragon.
I always had an obsession with arcade machines . But I still have a Nintendo and many carts.
Gotta start getting rid of stuff soon though.. Cant hold on to the past forever.
