Hello, I really enjoy the videos, and my interest has been piqued.  I have one main question, how does one "break into the hobby" so to speak?  I am an electrical engineer and a project like this looks like an awesome way to spend my free time, but it is very difficult to find defunct cabinets on craigslist.  All I seem to find are priced in the thousands, or these "60 in one" homemade mame things some local guy makes.  Are there regional communities I should be looking for?

You can find broken games on CL. But, you gotta look EVERY day. It's a big part of the hobby.

Yes, I think it's a great idea to seek out a local community. I think there is a group down by you. Maybe google it?

There are some smart people who use Google.  Apparently I'm not one of them!
