Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a DK jr cabinet to go along with my DK that I have. I also have my dedicated vs system to trade for one as well. It has lots of extra parts and games with it. Also my DK needs a new monitor put in it. The old one has a ton of problems and I would rather buy a different one to put in it. I would prefer it to be an original monitor like the one that's in it now. If you have either of these things for sale or trade let me know. Thanks

What are the issues with the monitor, did you recap it? Because you could buy another monitor and it could go shortly after you get it, best to learn how to fix your monitor.

Totally unnecessary. Nintendo cabinets are not hard to find.

It needs recapped but I have no idea how to do it and some people around here have said it could cost up to $150 to have it done. Seems a bit pricy if you ask me.

Guy I know charges roughly 150 for a recap, flyback, solder reflow, he even reenforces traces when necessary. The flyback alone is like 35 dollars. You're paying a professional for a skilled service. Ya get what ya pay for. It is a square .

Amt monitor you buy for under $150 is going to have issues sonnet than later.
Capping a monitor is easy. So is changing a flyback. Once you know how to solder properly.

Why do you say that, Tighe? If you ask me, a rebuilt 20EZ is about $100-$150 to a collector friend.

I can fix monitors or send you parts to do the same. As for the DK jr. I have two. One working and one non-working. The non-working one kind of works but the board has a few issues.

How much are you wanting for the non working one? And if you could recap my monitor that would be awesome

I am in central PA. As far as the monitor goes, you don't have soldering iron?
