John's Arcade MALA front end CAN'T SEE VIDEOS!

Hi guyz,

I've got almost everything up and running with the John's Arcade MALA Layout, but I can't see the videos! I can hear them playing, but the box goes black and I can't see them! Boo! Please help! The video files are all .avi's and the resolution is 180x240 (vertical videos, because it's a purely vertical cab). I tried .mpgs but those didn't work at all. The videos play fine in VLC.

Where did you get the videos? I don't recall what mine are. I'll check.

I don't remember. Got em a few years ago. Probably from the hyperspin project on u-g when it was still around.

You might want to open the MALA layout editor and make sure the video layer is on top or just check the settings in there for paths.
