Ran across John's videos while trying to get some info on my Mario Bros game. Only been in the hobby for about 3 months. Started with a Stern Scramble cab that was gutted and converted into a 60 in 1. Then i caught the bug. Found a Golden Tee and a Blitz/Jam for $250 working then took a 12 hr road trip bought a trailer and picked up a MK2, Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros, Aero Blasters, and SF2 Zcab. have a couple others in my collection of 15 games just purchased a TRON from a former Arcade owner and collector and hope to pick up my last two wish list games of Tmnt and Xmen both 4 player. Then I hope to have time to do little restorations on them and maybe play around with some rom burning. Loved the video of the Golden tee fore and silver stike switching cabinet that is a project I have planned in the near future. If your in the Portland area Id love to hear from you and talk games. Thanks John for having such amazing videos without watching them I wont have the courage to try and attempt of the the repairs Ive tried. Watching your videos is very motivational. Love your home arcade. Im currently planning on moving to a bigger house to accomadate my growing game collection. If you do read this John 2 questoins for you? 1. How do you get your games into your basement? You should do a video on that since that can be a major undertaking. I am lucky enough to currently have a basement with access from my garage so I got lucky. 2. I have seen you have a breaker system in your basement for your games. I dont ever power mine all up at once but when I move Id like to do something similar to what you have. Thanks again and great site.
Hey, welcome to the forum! Glad you made it.
Do you have a Mario Bros. wide body?
I have a bulk-head and get my games into the basement that way. I showed it in one of my videos. Which one was that? Hmmm... I forgot! It was one I did last year. Maybe Time Pilot or Gyruss?
I have (4) 20 AMP Breakers feeding the games.
