you are best served buying regular switches that color match, that is what I did for my dk jr.

yeah, I have that on it now for my orange button..... it playes OK..... but it would be so much nicer if it'd have a original on it Steve has the button, but it seems to be a problem for him to ship them to Europe or to get me to pay him so he can send it to someone I know in the US

i have nintendo buttons and regular switches. at least for me the regular switches are about the same. I think you might just need to replace the microswitch.

Tighe has a interesting video on modifying the repro buttons to be higher. He says his buttons are from Bob Roberts but are the same from Mikes Arcade. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B16Xg2RbnSY
