In comparison, Arcade fever looks like a flyer, and I do like that book, but that's the comparison in weight at least. Supercade is nearly 450 pages of great photos, multiple authors, goes through video game consoles, home computing, arcades of course, info on companies like Atari, Sega, features on Twin Galaxies. Personally I treasure this book and dip into it a lot.
For the pittance I've seen these on abebooks, I wouldn't hesitate.

People reviewing this book slagging it off for mame screenshots are correct, but well off the mark, they missed the point, there's original ads, cover arts, rare consoles, the reviews are 4/5 on amazon and nearly 5/5 on UK.
