Hey guys wondering if I could get your help/opinion

I bought a Dynamo HS5 without doing my due diligence, and now facing this issue.

My OCD is itching, let me hear your thoughts, can I use a wooden bracket around the monitor as a spacer? i do have some room in the front behind the glass, or would you leave it?

Can you do what they did with some cabarets and cut a hole in the rear door for the neckboard to stick out and then cover that with a with a plastic shield?
