After returning the PCB back into my Ms Pac-man cocktail game I noticed a baffling issue that is now keeping me from playing. The screen is black, and the coin (play) counter on the coin door is ticking up and up and up.

This has happened once before and cleaning the PCB connector part did the trick. Now that's not working. Any ideas???

To be honest, I'm not a technician, but it sounds like you may have a short somewhere.  In the arcade that I worked, that happened from time-to-time, and it was almost always a short.  Good luck!   Grin

Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons . . . for you are crunchy and good with catsup.

Yes, I changed my handle.  I was never really happy with Vidiot.

I had this happen before and started disconnecting stuff until it stopped. Do that and it'll tell you where the short is.
