I have a all original Phoenix and Zaxxon with wood grain cabs.

I really want to do black laminate to replace the woodgrain. The Zaxxon is in really good shape, the Phoenix needs some cabinet repairs.

Is this ruining the games you think?

Yes. They were born ugly. It's the video game Gods will for them to look that way.
