Hi, a Swede living and working in Tokyo. Own two machines at home, Neo SC 19-4 and Jamma 19. Started collecting games that I like to relive from my youth! Due to living spaces in Japan, its hard to find stuff that fits.. Keep up the good job John, love your tutorials and restore vids..!

True restoration is an art form. Like any good artist you have to know what your doing. Painting a single line on a canvas and calling it a masterpiece does not fly in restoring a arcade machine. Do it right

My friend in Tokyo, can you see if there is a arcade repair shop that you can visit and perhaps photograph with permission?
I have a friend in Japan outside Tokyo that just ordered me a arcade game board and he mentioned such places. He is very busy though.

it's been a long time, i hope you are doing well. i would like to see what they have in stock, and what kind of parts they have for sale to the public. are there any places outside of the Akihabara area? i understand there are a group of stores there.

VertexGuy , we'll have never meet lukemorse, know who he is! For me it's really interesting due to have good contacts with a few old arcade suppliers that's given me allot.
The biggest downfall with Tokyo is that living space is really expensive! Just moved outside of Tokyo, 30min by train to Tokyo station! so I just got my own small Arcade/office space at home!! It's not big, but I fit 2 mini cabs and a cocktail!!
For me, parts, games and other is not so hard to find for good prices, sometimes free depending on what it is!
