I just got a Wrestlefest cabinet and when I turn it on it is silent. The credit sound works and once I get to the selection and different music plays, it sounds great. It seems to be missing the intro music. All sounds and other music is there EXCEPT the intro music. It's the weirdest thing. I'm clueless what to do. Anyone have this problem or can help me? I have no idea what to do... Please help!

Do the basic stuff first. Test voltages. Reseat chips. Could be a Digital Vs. Analog sound type of thing.

Stupid question... are there two volume knobs?

Nothing is stupid, believe me.

I'm not mechanically inclined so if you have any pics or info please let me know.

Where would I locate the knobs and how do I reset chips?

Like I said, I know some basic stuff but not much.

This is what the back of the tube looks like. It's a Hantarex MTC 9000 25" 28"  I cannot seem to find the volume knob. Any info on how to possibly fix my problem would be awesome.

The two knobs above and under each other are the screen and focus

It's just driving me crazy that I can't hear the intro music.

So I found the volume switch and it doesn't seem to be that.

But what I've learned is that the guy who is fixing a Wrestlefest PCB in this video (who has the intro music) looks different from mine. Is that common for games?

Could it be that some PCB have it and some don't? Because the guy who has the same PCB as me in this video doesn't seem to have the intro music either.

This shit is baffling, but maybe I just discovered something.

Did you check the 5V and the 12V?

I will check that.

And another thing I've discovered. It seems the Wrestlefest with the intro is called "Full Attract Mode" so maybe there is an option for it on the PCB that I don't know about because there is a 3rd Dip Switch on this and nobody knows why it's there. I did some research and it seems to be a mystery. I'm not touching mine until I know what it does. But obviously, I'm not sure if any of this correct because I don't know shit about these things.

Here's the mode.

Somebodies gotta know something out there in Wrestlefest land?Huh?

You have sound so it's not voltage/wiring or PCB.
It's either a dip switch setting or the ROMs you have are a different revision.
Check all the versions of that game in MAME and burn new program ROMs for the version you want and that may fix it.
You just need to burn new program ROMs not everything.
Also, look on the PCB (or in the manual/PDF). The PCB may have another connector for 2nd speaker to give stereo and the missing sound may be coming out of that (currently unconnected) speaker.
