Wanted to just confirm that I can discharge these two type of monitors like John usually does . 
Just want to make sure

The k7000 is self discharging so it really shouldnt do anything when you short it.

the ducksan is just a standard monitor, won't hurt anything.

There's some other stuff in there. You might start seeing more panasonic caps in the future as well. I am really starting to like those.
