A while back I posted about my Neo Geo machine.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQLETTsoAr4

I have an update video coming out soon.

The question for this post is. How do I with the lighting issues?

Simply the marquee and the coin door lights don't want to function. I am confident that its a wiring issue on the coin doors.

The machine was routed in its previous life before I got it. I think someone might have hacked up the power supply or disconnected power to the box. I will be posting a few more videos while i try to figure this all out. I'm also confident that they put the wrong replacement light in the top of it as well.

True restoration is an art form. Like any good artist you have to know what your doing. Painting a single line on a canvas and calling it a masterpiece does not fly in restoring a arcade machine. Do it right

Make sure both are getting voltage. if it isn't figure out what you need to do. probably just not connected. If there is power then you might need a new starter for the marquee. Also the marquee light needs to be grounded or it might not turn on at all.

I'm assuming its not getting voltage as ive put a new bulb in it and nothing. I'm thinking theirs some wires in the back not attached and its not getting power.
