Hi guys, my name's Chris, I'm from England and I've been on the forum for a couple of months and thought it was about time to introduce myself. I've only been in the hobby about a year and took the plunge buying a Police Trainer cab last December. It was playing blind so got it cheap but had the daunting task of repairing a crt monitor with barely any knowledge of electronics! Thanks to youtube videos like John's, arcade forums like this and the mindset that if it's already broken I can't make it worse, I was able to repair the K7000 chassis and had myself a fully working arcade machine with 25" monitor! Since then I have moved on to pcbs and have repaired a Mortal Kombat 3 board that had sound issues and have got a Mortal Kombat 2 working about 80% from being pretty much dead! I'm still learning but love finding out new things. My dream is to own dedicated Mortal Kombat 2 and Mortal Kombat 3 cabinets so hopefully one will come up at some point in the future.
