Got what I thought was a good on a Marvels Superheros Cabinet.
Inside of it I found this mystery monitor. The 25K7121

The issue I'm having seem to be with colors & brightness.
Will a Cap Kit fix these issues?

Is the same as a  K7000?
If so my hope is that I can replace the Caps and Voila the monitor will be brighter and colors more defined.

Is this a realistic expectation. Or should I pitch it? Start over with another monitor

The image on my chasis is the only clue I have found to the boards Identity.

K7000 cap kit will work on the K71xx

You should ALWAYS start with a cap kit before doing anything else.  you will still most likely have to adjust the monitor using the potentiometers on the chassis to get that final crisp look. If you are finding that the monitor starts to get washed out or colors start bleeding or you start getting jail bars and no adjusting seems to get the brightness or color you want then the tube might need to be rejuved and/or replaced. No matter what though, don't throw away a working monitor.

I adjusted the potentiometers and can modify the color saturation and brightness. However when I get the image crisp, the brightness is really low.

I'll go ahead and install the Caps and see what happens.

Thanks for your help
