Was there made an official Vs. Tetris set of ROM chips?

I have a set of Vs. Tetris ROMS but they are repurposed chips that were burned with rom code.  I am wondering if there was an official release of this game ever produced.

Thanks for any insight you may have.

I am not sure I understand what you are saying. The game was released on the VS and there really isn't a difference between having the nintendo labeled roms and ones you burn yourself.

As far as arcade official release I am sure tengen did sell a kit for the game but I can't find any flyers for it.

Thanks Ian. You properly deciphered my question!

I wasn't sure if someone just hacked a version of Tetris to run in a vs system, or if Tengen actually released a kit.

No one I've asked has ever seen or is aware of original ROM chips existing.
