I mentioned in a previous post I had picked up my first (and only - according to my wife) Pinball Machine.
PinBot was a steal!!  It was playable in the sense that it would eventually spit out a ball and you could bang it around the board.
A few of the toys didn’t work.

With the help of my daughter and step-son we got it almost to 99% good!
  • We changed out the yellow leaf switch buttons - with stock clear red ones.
  • We replaced a ton of burnt out bulbs also a micro-switch in the ball trough to indicate both were in there!  (Kinda like Johns Opto issue only instead of infared - Pinbot used a crooked wire and a micro-switch.)
  • We also replaced the little motor and 2 hooked micro-switches that opens and closes the helmet.
There is still the issue of the ramp that raises but can't seem to lower - I think I have to replace a magnetic solenoid thingie...

Incidentally, I bought all the parts from http://www.marcospecialties.com/

The site is great - you choose your game and it lists all the available parts for JUST that game!
Shipping was fast and reasonable too!

May I say it?
Get the LED bulbs, never change them again!

Looking great! Keep up the good work!

Yes LED's are on the to-do list.  However the 'goodie box' that came with the game had a few boxes of bulbs we changed the dead ones for now with old-school bulbs.  The LED Kit will come - but for now... at lest it is well lit!  ;)
