Revolution X to Terminator 2

I know that Terminator had a mirror with strobes and flashing red lights that were behind the mirror. Made a pretty cool effect. But IDK if you can just convert another game over to it. He claims it is working 100%, I think the new monitor might be worth it alone. Do you guys think the game will be playing correctly? If so can I use a Jamma switch and add Revolution X back into it again later?
