Free play setting / Projecting image

Hello, is free play available with dip switch settings?  Also best site for dip switch settings by game?

Want to project the image from Vs. SMB onto a modern LCD projector, looking for best way to do this?  CGA to VGA board or small white box converter on ebay?

I have all the dip switch settings for all the VS. games on my site.

Most VS. games have freeplay. Some do it better than others. SMB has freeplay but it doesn't show the attract mode when freeplay is on. Matt Osborn has created a hack that adds attract back into free play and also adds high score save. You need to burn a rom to install it:

I'm not sure about the projector thing. Never needed to do that.
