Yes, I just found this on some other forum post from a million years ago... 2009 I think. LOL
All other wires go the gnd (yellow, yellow/black, yellow/white, yellow/violet, white/green...
The Wire in question is the Yellow-Violet which appears to be grounding the Button and the Right on the Joystick.
Both the button and the Joystick are getting good contact, the leaf's are straight and free of rust or corrosion.
So it has to be this weird - 'solder to a cap jobbie' that's the issue - I THINK!
If I CUT the wire - where would/should/could I re-attach it to make ensure it is connected to the right thing?
