I brought this up for conversation in the shoutbox / chatbox thing a few months ago and I never really did figure out which game it was as I think some people thought I was referring to Track & Field but I don't think it is.

The beeping for the "3, 2, 1, GO" sequence. I thought it was Outrun but that's at the other side of John's Arcade so I'm not sure.

Anyways, I vote for it off. I've heard it in every video for as long as I've been watching and before that (watching older videos), and I think it's time for a switch-up in my opinion. I wonder what other games could have a neat affect or change on the ambiance that aren't currently set to on? This one just bugs me in particular, hehe.

Thoughts? I'll obviously still enjoy the videos either way but I thought I'd start some discussion around here.

Pole Position?

There's been a few times you hear it and he mentions that it may get annoying and talks about turning it off, but never does . I personally find it funny. Anytime I hear it in the background I wonder if he's going to point it out again.

Of course it´s the Pole Position signal for the start of the race. It´s iconic and an arcade ambience is incomplete without it.

Pole position has a very iconic attract, it might be annoying but its pretty great. I also love track and field's whistle. John has probably one of the best line ups of attracts in any collection.

The one that I am thinking about turning off right now is Dragons Lair. It's starting to bother me.

I think I have tastefully turned some off, and others on, to the point where it is not too annoying.

DL's attract is too long. I never thought it would work out there anyways.

Track & field and pole position attracts are awesome.  I think the Journey would annoy me most of all.
I miss the Black Knight attract the most though.
