I just bought my first machine and it is a Pac-Man.  Grin
I need some help with locating some parts.
My machine  is a upright cabinet.
I an looking for the CPO. I found one at Quarter Arcade for $35.00. I just do not know if this is a good buy.

Cool and thanks.
The plastic parts in the joystick are in bad shap. Not the red ball. Is there a kit? Just seem to find the centering grommet.
The marquee and the glass besel are trashed.

Ok I have a tech question. My PCB has a single e-prom mod. The e-prom has a label (fast/slow) on it. I am thinking there is a way to switch from one to the other. I tried the dip switches with no luck. My pac is in fast mode at the moment. Plus is there a way to install the high score save with attract on this hacked PCB.

The original ROM chip, I believe at position 6F if memory serves, was replaced to make it the fast version.  If you prefer the stock slow version all you need to do is pull that chip and replace it with a new ROM chip burned with the original data.  If you don't have a ROM burner and/or don't know how to do this, http://www.hobbyroms.com is your best friend.

If you want both slow and fast versions to be available and selectable, I believe a Pac multi kit is the only way to go unless you convert your cab to a 60-in-1.

Someone else will have to answer the high score save question.  Most if not all of the Pac multis will do high score save, but I don't know if there is just a straight high score save mod for an otherwise stock board.

Makes you wonder if it's some odd-ball switcher based on the label, or something. I wonder if the button was never installed? Tongue Although I guess that makes him slow on "default". Hmph. Odd.

Anyways, welcome to the forums, Timberwolf, man! Smiley

Cheesy

Have a good stay bro.

I went to the real Rob Roberts web page to find new leaf switch type buttons. He was sold out. Is there some place else to go? I did find some at twisted for 5.99.
