This one's for Tighe
Hi mate
This is really odd, some one I've never met before tweeted me saying "are you still looking for that sheriff game"
I said " yea been looking for 10 years"
He said "I've got one"
I thought this was a wind up, but no he sent me a load of pictures and he  said he'd seen my restorations and wondered if I could help with getting his game working .
At this point I was really excited because I thought he might want to sell, but no.
He sold me it was given to him by his uncle 30 years ago and hasn't been working for 20 of them.
At first I felt disappointed because this is my grail cab and I've been looking for this for Long time, but I had to help the guy .
So today I took a hour long trip to east London where I met the proud owner of this ultra rare Nintendo game
Sheriff .
I took a spare psu with me as he sent me a picture of the monitor which came on but was white blank and no game .
So I Swapped it for mine and it worked straight  away.
The owner was over the moon that I got it working, and I felt so pleased to have Finaly played this ultra rare game from Shigeru Miyamoto .

It's a very good game
The controls are like nothing I've  ever seen
The left stick controls movement in which you can move around the whole playing feild, and the nob to the right which looks like a gas cooker nob controls his arm.
His arm can move 360 around his body but you have to push the nob in when you want to fire.
A very unique control system for it's time.
And this is the first game Miyamoto did the art work for, so very special indeed .

Looks really cool! Seems like a lot of these games showed up in cocktail form in the UK, no? The upright Sheriff is a really cool cabinet. Cool of you to help him fix it! Thanks for sharing.

We had a lot of cocktails john but not really that many Nintendo games
I guess the most popular was space firebird
We never got donkey kong, we had crazy kong .
But that sheriff is the first I've ever seen in the uk .
The serial number read 180 so very low numbers.
Love you pod cast by the way john

What year did gun fight come out ?
Isn't that space invaders hardware ?

Nintendo could well have copied that as at the time Nintendo didn't really have a flagship game.
