Super Mario Bros.

1. Original Nintendo monitor not working, was plugged directly into the mains at one point in time.
2. No power supply.
3. No harness.
4. PCB works.
5. Cabinet is what it is.
6. Comes with a spare GO7.

Well, plugging a 100v Japanese ac monitor directly into USA 120v will kill it.

I wouldn't pay more than $80

The G07 isn't very useful with a Nintendo system without a video inverter.

But the monitor if it works is worth $60-$80.

I am  the sanyo monitor can be fixed but it will be a bunch of parts.

John, can I get a price check on this? Also when you're done, clean up on aisle 7, some little kid made the watermelons sticky

Yes sorry, totally forgot. It does come with an invertor and the GO7 works but needs a cap kit.

I would pay more than $80 Ian.

The board is worth an okay amount and the cabinet is decent shape. Not a hole lot of valuable stuff though

I would buy your cabinet and stuff there in a split second. I have a spare Sanyo and DK board waiting for a home. Too bad you're in BC and I'm in IL.

Oh it's not for sale by me, I was thinking of buying it but the asking price is much higher than what we're calculating here. Just have zero experience with Nintendo and what a SMB would be worth if I got it going.

Don't spend over $150 and that is really pushing it.

Thanks Tighe, that's the exact number that I was comfortable spending on it. Still way less than what is being asked though. Going to have to decline even though I don't have a Nintendo yet.

My advice is time is your friend, if you wait you will find a nice one at the right price.

First ask yourself....
How ready available is that cab in your area?

If they are hard to get , about 200.

If they are all over the place go lower.
Figure 80 for the board, the monitors are worth a few bux and the cab
The cp is worth 50 if working.  bezel worth 40ish .. yeah if you had to pay 200 you are still coming off.

It's a big project and a lot of useful stuff. I love nintendo cabs. Easy to work with and so many options. $150 and you're in good shape.

I agree with the $150. you would have to refinish the sides. Its already a conversion and not dedicated. The monitor is going to have a lot of burnt parts, maybe consider buying a new PCB ($80).
