Just picked up a dig dug cab , when its cold im getting erratic voltages on the ar board , humbar on the screen and loud hum through the speakers that all seems to go away after its warm (minus the humbar) from what ive researched all things lead to rebuilding the ar board ( the big caps look bad anyway ) can anyone verify this?

there is a good chance the big blue is going bad. I would be careful thinking about the AR2 rebuild because the parts are hard to come by and expensive.

Huh? Bob Roberts has rebuild kits for the AR2.  It's easy and not expensive. http://www.therealbobroberts.net/parts.html#atari

I would also replace the filter cap. Humbar could also be the fuse block.

He doesn't sell the voltage regulator, it is from memory like $10+ for just that part + $20 for the kit+shipping from bob. If the connectors are bad that's another $20.
