Okay, that theory is out then. I might try and disconnect the C315 jumper that's on the board and see what happens. From what I've read it has something to do with the sync circuit, some boards need it some don't.

Okay so it's 95% fixed, very very slight curl that no one will notice!!!

Disconnecting the C315 jumper gave me all my Hold control back. This jumper is meant to be for some games, maybe even a Centipede but on mine it killed 50% of my Hold adjustments forcing everything to max, leaving me with no ability to remove screen defects.



Ian, again I thank you for your moral support. It's a lot easier diving into the unknown when you know you have a safety net.
