Monitor issue? Red tent vs cab

Hey all,

I just bought a red tent today (yay) however it came with what appears to be a monitor issue. I have attempted adjustments on the panel underneath the monitor which have fixed the squiggles, but I am still left with the image pushed far to left to where there is a horizontal black bar. The games on both sides are fully functional, and the other side (excite bike) monitor looks great so I think I can assume it has something to do with the monitor for super mario. I will admit I am not a monitor technician so I do appreciate the troubleshooting manual and schematics, but I wanted to see if anyone had seen this issue in particular before I start getting into a heavy amount of reading and tinkering.

That sure looks like an adjustment issue to me. An odd one at that. Adjusting the V and H hold does nothing to fix this? H-position?

Have you capped the monitor? I am not sure it would fix the issue but it's a good place to start so you can rule it out.
