So I have had this problem for a while but can just now get to it: my frogger is starting up with the frog at the very top colored part of the screen (on the play field). It is starting with the frog I n the row just above the area where you are trying to get to. Not a place frogger should be at any point. He will move left and right but not up or down. If I move home as though he were on the screen, he will actually die as if he were in the correct spot all along. My question is this; has anyone had a problem like this before? I assume it's an addressing issue with the sprites. I have done the usual reflow, reseat, clean edge connector etc. I have an original style board which is a Galaxian type board. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where these sprite address circuits are? Online help is vague and mostly for the later model board. The galaxian style is almost like a pacman board. Thanks.
