I'm working on my Space Invaders and I'd like to know is there any care that needs to be taken when simply cleaning the screen so that I don't accidentally peal the color overlays off of the monitor? Are the overlays compatible with glass cleaners? Can I spray the cleaner directly on them or should I spray it on a rag and carefully wipe the monitor/overlays? If they do peal up how/can they be reinstalled or would they have to be replaced? Any help appreciated.

Well I used some glass cleaner in a spray can that we had lying around and it worked fine. I found that wiping from the middle of the screen and working toward the edge along with working slowly and taking your time is what works best. I tried only one wipe from the edge to the middle and the rag was trying to grab the overlays. The glass cleaner didn't seem to harm them.

O.k. question number 2....

I want to ditch the marque light bulbs and replace them with LED's. Anyone know where I can get direct replacement LED's the light bulbs?

Thought about this for mine, but I'll probably just get a replacement bezel and triple thick spray it to keep the heat from causing flaking.  If you find a  led replacement, I'd be interested if it shows up as diffused light, or just a bunch of brighter spots behind the bezel.

That's what I'm having trouble with. The silk screening is flaking. I touched it up and sprayed it with triple thick. Was a pain keeping the triple thick off of the clear glass but in the end I pulled it off. Just need the LED's now. I think I may have found some. We'll see how they look.
