So my centipede won't let me move up or down. I checked the trackball and the harness, good. All the connections to the board are good and the board, as far as I know, is good too. However, when I was testing I accidentally turned it on without the board connected, and after I reconnected the board all I could get was a white screen and the 1P button being constantly lit. All voltages are good.

Well this is just a guess but I'll look at each wire where they go into the individual pins in the edge connector to make sure that non are loose and then I'd start reflowing solder all over that PCB. Like I said just a guess.

What would cause it to just stop working in the middle of a game? I will go and recheck all the continuity again this weekend.

Hello. Centipede has an arii power supply. They have a sense feature on them with resistors that are notorious for getting fried (r29, r30). If your voltages look good, keep your leads on to see if the voltage is changing. I agree with double checking all the connections first. Centipede is an old game and the power supply can be tricky. Also; make sure your monitor is good. The problem could be the g07 if that's what you have.

Make sure your negative voltage is good also. I had a centipede that would come and go before it died and it was a voltage reg for the neg voltage

I will check those today. The monitor is good since its almost brand new (last owner replaced it) and other symptoms show up when the screen goes white (not related to monitor). I will keep everyone posted.
