Hi you all

i have a question about Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

I got a MK 1 cabinet but for some reason it has UMK3 in it.
I have the board of MK1 and MK2 but i`m too scared to putt them in because i dont want to kill the boards. i searched on the internet, and found something about the -5 volts. maybe you could help me with that? and maybe send some links if i need some harness or anything.

(little bonus question: maybe i want to putt a "Blue Elf" 619 in one or something in there for partys and such things. is this possible without any modifications?)

Thanks and greetings from switzerland

don't worry about the -5V. the games are all jamma compatible

Screw the blue elf in a dedicated MK1 cab... just dont do it .

PUT MK1 in it .. yes it needs -5 volts mostly for the audio .
If its already running a UMK3 board, it already has -5 volts
Kick harnesses are the difference with these machines.
MK1 , 2 and UMK3 use diff kick harness layouts.
UMK3 also uses a RUN button.

yeah, i wanted to do it at first, but tought about it  Grin
i will buy myself a empty cab and wire it by myself.

i got a Mortal kombat 1 board and it runs pefect, except the audio, i have to solder a new pot on the volume cable
i got a Mortal Kombat 3 harness in there, but the standart Mortal Kombat 1 Buttons work, is this normal?
