Anyone know the B+ setting for a Sanyo 20EZY?  This is in an Atari Dig Dug Cabinet.

The current reading is +150vDC.  I know Nintendo's 20EZ is suppose to be 108vDC....just wondering what the EZY runs at.

Thanks for your help.

I think I found my problem....

Both PIN 2 and B are showing a whopping +13vDC.  The manual says +5vDC.

Bad Power Supply?

Thanks,

Here is what the screen looks like now.  +13vDC going into the board at PINS 2/B.  The edge connector looks fried.  See Photos:

Its an ARII right?

I recently had one just spiking like that outta the blue and it did glitch the game onscreen. it would either do 4v or 13v ..
something on the ARII blew out causing that.
Try another ARII see what it does.

Cool...yes....Diode R29 is fried on the ARII board.

Also, my B+ is at +150v.....shouldn't be around +108vDC?

Thanks,

it sounds like your edge connector being burnt up is causing the AR2 to ramp the voltage up too high. Consider wiring power around the edge connector. As far as the monitor goes. Work on that separately. I imagine the B+ is the same for the EZY as the EZV, but it could be closer to a wells which is around 130V. ultimately what matters is how it fills the screen as B+ can control the fill.  If the B+ gets too high the over voltage shutdown circuit should enable.

Thanks Ian.

Another user emailed me back on KLOV...he believes that the B+ should be at +108vDC...just like the Sanyo EZV.

That diode on the ARII is completely fried...it looks a bit melted too.  Will post pic.  Not much to that ARII board.

R30 is fried too.

So, both R29 and R30.
