I figured today since it's my sons birthday tomorrow, and im feeling pretty fucking old right about now id make a shitty video.

Ive always been into arcade machines and home consoles ever since I can remember.
When I was young I was lucky if I even got a dollar to go play arcade games at the arcade, pool halls or roller skating rink.
Lets not forget the bowling alleys.
My first job was in an arcade.. I earned my keep so I would have enough money so me and my brother could have quarters to play
arcade games.. the ones I played the most were congo bongo, pengo and jungle king.

Next job I got was in the local bowling alley.. I was a lane cleaner and cashier.
my brother took a liking to bowling where I still liked playing arcade machines.

Later on in life I was making a pretty good living while going to college I was able to get the home consoles I couldn't afford as a kid.
Never thought id be the owner of many arcade machines let alone one.
I was diagnosed with cancer.. the straw that broke the camels back.
After I got through that (scared as shit but determined) I built a mighty fine classic car and painted it myself.
Inspired to do more , I wanted to make a nice gameroom for myself.

I got into multicades first. Didn't know the first thing about arcade machines.
this was about 2 years ago.
Met a dude named John who has a pretty cool youtube channel.
When he came over he couldn't stand the site of my altered arcade machines that played mame.
I tried to stick up for myself but I knew in the back of my head he was right.

So I started shedding the multi's and started learning how  (trial and error.. and wasted some money along the way) to get a real arcade machine running.
keep in mind not every machine is the same..  I just picked up an MCR game and found out fast I had more to it.

You meet a lot of assholes, sharks and ripoff artist along the way (people that are in this hobby to take your money) then you learn to avoid those fucks
as much as possible.

Anyways.. this is where my game collection stands today.
Before I am judged.. I rent , I live alone and I live very simple. I help other locals getting into the hobby.. but I have nobody coming over and helping me .
My main hobby will always come first.. my cars .
I try to go and enter in as many car shows as I can in the middle of the year so that's NOT when I am working on machines .
John and Ace will get a kick outta this vid though.

Steve, I didn't listen to the video but watched a little and I can see your collection and skills have come far! Way cooler than the Xbox MAME cabs you had before! Cheesy
