To start off,

I love your videos, I watch them and have helped a local bowling
alley with repairing his games with what I have learned from you and
your videos.  I have built up a mame machine, from a doner cab that I
got from the bowling alley as payment for a job I did.

Now I am embarking on a new project,  Taking a Neo Geo MVS board
and making it a home console.  I have the following items,

Neo MVS Slot MV-1F SNK Mother board Arcade Jamma Neo Geo black

RGB to NTSC/PAL TV Converter PCB Remove

Power Switch with Built-in EMI Filter and Fuse Protection Remove

16A Arcade Game Switching Power Supply (MD-9916A)
16A Arcade Game Switching Power Supply w/ -5VDC (MD-9916A) Remove
CODE: MD-9916A-5VDC

I also have the parts to make a controller.  My question is, as
follows

On the power supply, there is a ac1 and ac2 as well as FG.  I know
the FG is the ground, but the ac1 and the ac2 is throwing me off, as
I need to wire this to the power switch and rather not reverse the
plugs.

Also for the RGB to RCA converter board requries power, is it
possible to splice into the -5v/1a?
And I was going to make this out of cherry wood, and was going to
use the +12v for pc fans to help push air through and keep the unit
cool.

The jamma harness is easy enough to follow and hook up,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

AC1 and AC2 are the 120v wires from your wall socket.
Typically AC1 is your Black or HOT wire, and AC2 is your White or neutral wire

Bob Roberts has a wonderful writeup on this http://arcadecontrols.com/BBBB/acwiring.html

usually the power switch will be hooked into the black or HOT wire from your power cord.

Just one safety warning here: make sure you read up on AC wiring in detail, this can either damage your parts, or kill you if done wrong.
