I used to have both the Fz1 and the GS versions before I started thinning out my console related items.

Both are very well made, the Goldstar has some neat things about it and is a little more uncommon.
Only issue I ever had was that sometimes the drive tray would get stuck out but a gentle push got it right again, but that's the only issue i can think of and that was most likely just that my console had a drive alignment issue.

I now only have my FZ-1 but honestly I miss the Goldstar, the only reason sold it instead was because it was worth more.

i have a goldstar and it works perfect. i believe it to be low use though so it works like new.

compatibility with original discs everything works well.

I think the FZ10 is the most reliable, and the sleekest

I loved my FZ-10 that's the flip top right? I had the FZ1 and it eventually made loud noises with drive problems.

Review other forums because i think CD Rs on the goldstar is that a few things work but most do not
