Hello,
My name is Craig and I live in Newmarket, NH. I've been in the arcade hobby for roughly 5 years now and have been watching John's Arcade since 2011. I own 3 all original arcade games; an upright Pac-Man, a Ms. Pac-Man cocktail table, and just recently a
upright. I was turned onto this forum somewhat recently but haven't had the time to join, but now that I have my first Nintendo cab I figured I should make the time. My familiar territory is Bally Midway games, so performing some TLC to this
has been challenging but very enjoyable. While I have your attention, I figured I could ask for some help with my monitor. I recently capped the Sharp XM-2001N monitor in my game with Ian's kit and adjusted the B+ to 110V like it says in the manual. When the monitor first comes on, it looks gorgeous, but as it warms up, it starts to curl really bad on the left side, and there is some flickering every once and a while. I checked the voltage coming from the socket and it is outputting 108V, is this too high? Or could it be something on the chassis? Thank you all for your time, looking forward to being a part of this community.
