Picked up Ms Pacman today!

Another craigslist purchase today.  The cabinet is a little rough but everything is there.  It obviously has a PCB issue so I'm going to see if I can fix it before tossing in a new PCB.  Got it for $400 which I think was good?  Looks great next to my Pacman though.  Here's some pics -

First thing to do is too get rid of the filter board. It is not needed.

So... I'm now on the hunt for a new PCB.  A friend of mine brought over some extra pacman PCBs for parts but we could get this one back up and running.  I'm also going to look for another marquee as this one is pretty faded and the joystick is wrong in the control panel.  They made the hole bigger to make it fit which is really a shame.  Gonna look for another control panel setup.  If anyone has any extra parts for sale, please let me know.  Thanks.

$400 is what I would expect to pay for a pretty good shape working pacman. First step as stated before is to get rid of the filter board, thats the extra PCB with the yellow strap between the real PCB and the harness. That does nothing but screw with you!

Make sure you have clean AC into the pacman board and around +5V to any of the ICs on the PCB. So much can go wrong in pacman as far as power goes even though its a very simple setup.

Fixing pacman is pretty easy, it is one of the simplest PCBs ever. I can't really tell whats going on from the screen shot as it could be a couple of different things. Videos help me a ton as I know that game well.
