Okay...stupid question but is there a matrix guide to what monitor can fit in which arcades?

For Example,

I've got a Galaxian or Galaga....what monitors are compatible with this machine?

Or does each machine has only one specific monitor that can be used with it?

I know...flame retardant suit on.  Fire when ready!

Are you asking about size or chassis?

For the most part, every monitor of the same size will fit in any other cabinet with the same size and resolution monitor. Sometimes the frames will be off slightly and that information I don't know and i'm not sure there are too many people that will know that off hand.

I guess I'm asking for both....

The chassis and the connectors that work with each game.

Example...

Could you put a Wells Gardner Kxxxxxx in a Time Pilot, Galaxian and/or Qbert?  That sorta thing.

Maybe I'm not making sense...not the first time.

Well there really is no limit. almost every game is going to work with any monitor. Sometimes that isn't the case but that's an exception. As long as the monitor is the same resolution as the game you will be fine. As long as the monitor physically fits in the cabinet you are fine. Like i said sometimes the frames might not work but its easy to with.
