LCD Monitor power

I am building a Cocktail table for my father-in-law for Christmas with a 60 in 1 card so he can play Galaga!
This should get me nominated for son-in-law of the year.

I have everything I need to get this up and running... 

I have a question about the Monitor Power...
Can I simply cut the end off the Monitor Power cord (the plug) and wire the Hot/Neutral and Ground directly to the power supply?
I have an arcade power supply not a PC power supply.

Any words of wisdom in this department?

The power supply used should not matter at all to the LCD monitor if it is using an AC power cord. If that is the case, use a power strip and give it its own C13 cable (standard power cable).

If the LCD monitor is one of those super thin ones that uses a DC power brick instead of an internal power supply, look at what the brick uses and make sure your power supply has both the voltage and current available. If i missed what you meant let me know and i will be more than happy to help.

The Monitor I have uses a standard A/C PC power cable.
I would like to avoid having a power bar/strip inside the cabinet.
That being said, if I cut the plug off the monitor cable can I hook that right into the power supply and avoid any plugs inside this cabinet?

I have installed one of those EMI Filter plug/power switch with a fuse on the cabinet already.

are you talking about basically splicing the monitors ac wire into where the AC plugs into the switcher? if so, not my preferred way to do it but you can do that just fine.
