I am wondering how you all feel about using a LCD Screen in an Arcade machine because I am thinking about building a few machines from scratch and want to use an LCD screen.

I understand why people would want to use LCDs... It's the easy way out. However, it just doesn't look and feel the same. I am repulsed by the flat image and blurry graphics. Smiley

well for me eather is good. Cheap CRTs are hard around here. I can easly go to goodwill and get a LCD cheaply. I would love to have it more origale if I could find cheap CRTs but I dunno if its possible here.

This. I despise LCDs in arcade games. I won't even play a game so equipped. Looks wrong, feels wrong. Seen too many games ruined by sticking a LCD in them. But to each his own I suppose.

for classic games crt is the way to go, graphics are too pixelited on lcd's
