Sub to his gaming podcast...same personality, multiple shows per week, just not very much if any arcade talk.

It's been 3 years since Johns last video. Everything o.k. with John? Did he just get burned out? Any possibility of new videos???

I get why people want to own games. At the same time when I see a movie I usually never care to see it again. The exceptions are classics like Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and Princess Bride.  I don't really care about that media.

Well, I never said how I got it fixed. I found a local guy that knows how to work on this thing. As a matter of fact he does arcade games, security cameras, and hydraulic repair (hey ohms law works for hydraulics too). He fixed my monitor and then my church had a man lift that needed repair. I asked him to work on it with me and between the two of us we fixed it. He donated his time and only charged the church for the parts. I got to be friends with him and I do my best to learn from him.

On to the next game.

Hey guys. New to the hobby, but have been subbed here forever.

I picked up my 1st game. A Robotron that's been put into a moon patrol cabinet. It was not working initially.
So far I've replaced the power supply (it was converted to switching)
It had a bad ram chip, so I had to replace one of the 4116's and now its booting without error, and I can hear the initial startup sound.

My issue is that I have nothing on the screen. Well I have something its a lightblue'ish screen with some diagonal lines (pics attached)

I do have a cap kit on the way, but I'm just wondering if that's going to even help with this specific issue.

I'm hoping someone here recognizes this specific screen.

I do have a thread on KLOV going as well, but I thought I would post here as well since you're all bro's lol
thanks

So I purchased a PCB for street fighter II on ebay and low and behold it was bootlegged. That was my fault that I didn't read the fine print. It is an "MSTREET-6" board if I am reading it correctly. My JAMMA harness doesn't look like it will fit as there is a notch in my harness and the pinout on the board has no space for the notch to fit into. And how do I connect the kick harness? Here is a picture of the board:

Any suggestions?

Be sure to check all voltages before connecting the pcbs. Double check the wiring/pinout against the manual.
