...that reminds me, seeing your Dodgem again, is it possible to get some scans/pictures of the inner crowds around the monitor?

Did you see the final result of the 8 pictures you took for me on the glass outer bezel?  They are being printed very soon.

Yeah, I saw the bezel, turned out really nice, this artwork is one of my favourites, that kid at the cashier's desk is so 80's. Cheesy
I will take some pics from the inner bezel soon, it is not possible to scan, it is not flat. ;)

Hi, Hello!

Bela is here from Hungary. ;)
I know John and some other guys from Dragon's Lair fans forum, I thought I hop in here and show my collection.
I live in Budapest and infected with the arcade virus in the early 80's, but only started to collect these huge beasts in 2007. Cheesy
I focused mainly on Zaccaria dedicated cabinets, but when I was on the hunt, I found a lot of other classics from the 70's/80's era.
I just finished my gameroom, I copy the post I made yesterday on DLF forums, I hope you guys will like it. ;)
Don't miss the 2 videos, the sound of a working arcade is awesome!

After several years of collecting, repairing and storing my cabs about 5 different places, seems like my gameroom is ready. Grin
I call it simply the "80's Arcade", there are no modern stuff in there, everything is from the late 70's and 80's. ;)
Long story short, we had an approx. 52m2 large living room at the ground floor of our house, it was built in the 80's and it really needed a restore by now, but let the pics speak.

Replaced all the old aluminium wires with copper ones

We had a visitor every day Cheesy

Our McGyver solution instead of the rusty radiator. Cheesy

And finally, the cabs inside Grin

I also made 2 videos (daylight/dark), but freakin youtube removed the sound from one, because of copyright issues, they have an automatic sound analyzer software and it recognized John William's Star  Wars main theme. Tongue

The other one is in Etienne's NAS, you can download it here(this is better IMHO, worth a watch):

At last, I would like to send my huge thanks to everybody who helped to buy, transport, repair, store my cabs and for those, who made the brilliant artwork repros, I wouldn't be able to reach this point without this community. :spaceace:
