I also heard aircraft stripper is the best ever. I'm doing that next.

Last time I used an aircraft stripper (on an aircraft) a fresh air suit was required.

Be warned, aircraft chemicals are awesome but they will damage you.

John I went to a local dedicated lighting supply store and found an equivalent ballast for stock setups. It's white instead of goldish but almost the same otherwise. Let me dig up a picture of it for you, it was only 9 bucks up here in Canada so that means it'll be 2 bucks for you guys down south  Roll Eyes (sarcasm)

What did you do to the electrical if anything to accommodate your machines?

I've always been curious what the optimal electrical setup would be if one was able to start from scratch.

ie, extra circuits, more plugs, plugs in the floor, plugs on the walls (neon) etc etc

I use a big sheet of cardboard under the cabs when moving them in and out. Helps them slide and keeps them off the carpet. Don't know about other vans but once I stow the rear seat I have to remove my rear seat latches which stick in from each side if I want two cabs or pins in the back. The two latches suck up that extra 6" that I need.

I have a Odyssey and have got 3 EM pins in there at once. For some reason though 2 arcades are a real tight squeeze depending on the cab.

My Red Baron is driving me crazy, I'm about to shot gun that as well but with a real shot gun!

I'm getting a mathbox error and can't get any signature analyzer to work because my machine is an early one with a modded BZ main board and RB Aux board.

I'm glad you kinda figured yours out.

When I got my AD it was similar to yours. My issue was the AR board as well but I found it really needed the correct voltages. I know you've rebuilt it but do make sure all your voltages are set. I think there's also some troubleshooting that can be done depending on what your player lights are doing. Also listen for beeps on start up as well if you haven't already done so. I'm no pro with this stuff, that's about all I got.

I love it, Just got back from Frontier Arcade in England an they had one there, I have it on the 60-1 Multi Board but the sound is terrible!

The sound on this game is flat out amazing. Dual speakers cranked make for some really memorable game play. Keep up the search,  this is one awesome game to have in the line up.

Sometimes word of mouth helps too.
The dragons lair john just bought wasn't on ebay or craigslist.
Because he has a spiffy friends like me , I showed him where there was one.

Was wondering where John found that.  So true though, just being in the loop with like individuals makes all the difference. Hey Howling_North, how north are you. See if you can hook up with the closest club or something or dive into the forums and find some close collectors.

Hey John so I never put it together but was the Gravitar cab the exact style that Quantum came in or was it a kit only?

Ya that would work great I think while keeping it a proper and pro fix with nothing to feel bad about.

John I was thinking about your cab and that front corner that was bondo'd. If you cut that whole corner off and add another piece with either a couple dowels or a biscuit to secure it, it would work nicely and would be 99% wood. Just thinking out loud.

Ah so much room to grow, that is awesome Ian. Half the fun is finding and buying games for me and you can do it for a long time to come, you're lucky.

Okay so I guess it's in the eye of the beholder like most things. I won't turn down a Mr. Do either then if I ever come across one. I do like the simplicity factor of DD, sometimes that adds to play-ability when you don't want to be too engaged.
