Sorry if this has been covered already... I am looking to increase my skill set and I am wanting to set up my own CRT testing/repair bench. What all would you guys recommend getting for tools and diagnostic equipment?

Well, however you want to swing it and without turning this into a political tirade, people are not spending like they used to. They do not have the money too. I know from my own personal business that this is true and I'm not far from Springfield.

The fact remains that I have heard COUNTLESS times from people on various forums, collectors, friends, you name it, that an Arcade would never make it this day and age. Ya? Well, bullshit.

For all you nay-sayers out there that prattle on about how a Classic Arcade cant possibly make it these days, read it and weep. 9 yrs and going strong. AND during a recession! Go ahead, piss on that parade.

That looks like a bar top a guy out of Chicago used to sell. Can't remember his name off-hand. If all the parts are brand new I would say $400-$425. Yes, you could build one for under $200 with used parts and such. The price on these all depends on how much you want someone else to do the labor for you and how big a risk you wanna take using old hardware.

Posted some pics on the flicker feed of some freebie monitors a friend of mine got couple days ago. In my possession now but still available for one of us to use if we need them.

I'd buy both for the $400 if it were me....

Fired up the mame cab today and since I have it set to launch a random game up came MTV Rock-N-Roll Triva Part 2 by Triumph Software.

While it plays nothing like Eyes it certainly uses the sounds and fonts. The high score board is even similar.

Actually not a bad game. Has some questions I could even answer.

Can you beat my high score of 26840!

I would add some screen shots if I could figure out how to do it on this forum...
