This has always been a post that sits in the back of my head every time I help someone identify a cabinet and I have never been able to find out what it originally was but always looked every once in awhile, until finally I saw this post out of nowhere https://www.facebook.com/As-Found-Arcade-Machines-671138093218203/photos/pcb.1391117444553594/1391117334553605

It appears to be originally a Gametecniks Tri-Pool arcade machine from 1981 with the only difference being the coin door, which very well could of been swapped out with a new piece of wood judging by the plywood instead of particle board and the monitor being turned around during the conversion to the Taito games.

Edit: The Quest is over

Depends on the parts you need I know some Nintendo cocktail parts are reproduced, Here is a thread from UKVac that may be better in finding parts which seems to go over some repro parts "kind surprised no big repro art guys don't have space fever stuff"

Edit almost forgot the link http://www.ukvac.com/forum/space-fever-cocktail-project_topic355306.html

I just put a 60 in 1 in a super cobra what you need is a test and Service Switch to navigate threw the menu and I am pretty sure a dip switch needs to be flipped to get to the menu been 2 months since I did this. if you have micro switch buttons or any buttons in general hook them up to the right input and just leave them in the back of the cabinet. Once your in the menu to shut off the games you use the Joystick left and right to turn them of and up and down to scroll threw them

The Games you want to shut of to My knowledge will be
Super Cobra
Hustler
Juno First
Xevious
Scramble
Pinball Action
Shao-Lin's Road
Gun Smoke
1943
And I would suggest Congo Bongo because it's Q-bert controls but thats up to you

They are just pool covers here is what John said in his video
":John: And these little covers here it says Suitable for wet location, These are just like a cover's for a swimming pool"
How it probably works is he has a sub panel or 4 breakers in the main panel that just control the arcade games and the light switches shut off power from the outlets here is another quote from john that further support this
"Up Here I have four twenty amp switches, ok and each on of these are wired to a Twenty-eight amp breaker we got Four Twenty amp breakers"

10  Arcade and Pinball Discussions / General Arcade and Video Game Discussions / Repairing original Side art on: November 23, 2017, 11:00:14 pm
I just recently picked up a Dig Dug that was converted to Ikari Warriors, the original side art is there and not that bad but a little ruffed around the edges and scratched anyway to touch it up even thought its a decal?

Was Satan's Hollow a dual or single speaker setup?

It had 2 speakers

Here's a tag I missed. Doesn't make sense to me.

My only guess its the tag of the arcade like what Showbiz Pizza and Pizza Time theater had or operator's tag
13  Arcade and Pinball Discussions / General Arcade and Video Game Discussions / Re: Endless Quest on: September 09, 2017, 08:42:11 pm
After looking at your new posted photo's this is what I think, I agree with P-feif that it is probably a modified Satan's hollow that has been cut near the monitor and control panel either due to damage or for the monitor I have seen case's of operator modification like this for monitors but it also has been cut to add ventilation covers probably for the monitor change and I also think why the 4 screws there are gone is since the wood looks to be replaced. I also think the operator converted the game to elevator action since Satan's hollow was pretty controversial for having Satan and demons

Also on other notes I find it kinda funny that the operator just put the elevator action marquee underneath the gladiator marquee

What is stumping me the most about this is that you state that it was once a elevator which makes me think its not a Satan's hallow at all since it seems unlikely to convert a game that is a year old into something new, Is there any tags on the back of the machine or inside?  I would also suggest checking to see if there are any holes cut where the original stuff was
15  Arcade and Pinball Discussions / General Arcade and Video Game Discussions / Re: Endless Quest on: September 06, 2017, 11:05:47 pm
I don't think it is Satan's hallow since the monitor is more in the cabinet and the control panel is smaller, I did some research and could not find anything I am completely stumped on this

some pictures of Satan's hollow
