Welcome to the forum, I would definitely use the Craigslist search string John has provided. Using the search string I was able to pickup a NBA Jam a couple weeks ago but that's not all.

You won't believe me if I told you but two days ago someone posted a mint condition Tempest on Craigslist in Southern California for FREE, that's right free. Supposedly the monitor went bad, when I got there the cabinet was in excellent condition. Felt bad for the guy he was moving cross country and he couldn't take it with him, so gave him what I had in my wallet $41. Can you believe that $41 dollars, I still can't!!!

I got home plugged in and fired right up but after an hour the vector lines went wacky. I think it might be the edge connector or might need some cleaning on the board but the important thing is the monitor looks great. Anyways, like John says the deals are out there and this guy here just wrangled in a unicorn for almost free!!!  Grin

Thanks John, I was able to pickup a NBA jam using the Chrome extension with the search string. It send me an alert and 38 minutes later I pickup this beautiful cabinet on the cheap.

Cheers,
Juan
3  General Category / Introduce Yourself / Hello everyone, from Southern California on: September 19, 2016, 11:14:27 am
Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself from the Inland Empire area and mention how much we enjoy watching John's videos. I got into the hobby about a 9 months ago and now I am hooked! I didn't realize my son and I would get so much enjoyment working on these great arcade machines. I currently have a NeoGeo 4 slot machine, Arcade Legends and a Double Dragon as well a Ballys pinball machine. My goal is to get a 60-in-1 classic upright or find some roms to add to my arcade legends machine such as Pacman, , etc... Anyone with experience adding games to the Arcade Legends Multicade please let me know.

Anyhoot, it's great meeting everyone and I hope to contribute as well to this forum with my experiences working on these machines.

Geo
