Oh cool, I didn't know that existed.  I'll have to try some of those in MAME.  I'm guessing since I haven't heard of them as of yet, they're not really great games?

Flicky is a FANTASTIC game.

As is Up n Down. Super fun gameplay and the damn theme music will get stuck in your head for days, which may or may not be a good thing!

Hey John,

Are you going to make it out to Portland in October for the Retro Gaming Expo? Word has it you are "unconfirmed"...come on man! Make the trek! Ground Kontrol should be all done with their expansion by then! Think of the videos you can do! Think of the write-offs!

Make the trip, cappy, it'll be well worth it...but you know that already.

Thanks!

Chris

Hey There,

I recently joined after spending much time on KLOV (same handle as here) and discovering John's often jaw-dropping videos online. Dude, seriously, your basement about kills me. Well done. Looooong time vidiot here. Still have a few issues of Electronic Games magazines that I bought in the early 80s. Finally got serious about getting some games after many years of watching great deals go by on craigslist. Figures I would wait until there is an unprecedented upsurge in arcade fever! I recently landed my first pick up: Gauntlet II converted from a Gauntlet cab, fully functioning, no water damage, just missing the side art and black vinyl on one side. Not bad for under $200!

Glad to be here and LOVE the kick-ass resources here and in the arcade collecting community in general. Damn good stuff! And John, thanks again for all this and your vids. Holy crap...

Chris

Have: Gauntlet II (Gauntlet conversion).
Wants: the dreams - , DKJr, Blaster, Major Havoc, Discs of Tron, Frenzy, Mr. Do, Millipede, Xevious, Up n Down, Karate Champ...oh so many but so little space.
