1  Tech and Marketplace / I need help with my game! - Technical Discussion / Jamma to Nintendo VS on: January 24, 2017, 11:03:27 pm
I want to wire up an adaptor to play a Jamma game in my VS unisystem, I worked out what looks good to me just wondering how I would have to wire up the sound connection as its just 1 on the VS and its +/- on the Jamma.

Besides the sound if anyone sees anything I missed or mistakes let me know, never done this before.

I couldn't figure out how to post the image on here, but I posted it on a similar post on KLOV:

Get the MultiVS Lite from highscoresaves.com  8 games in 1 and you can easily burn different games if you get tired of them.  No rom swapping... Just DIP switches.  Easy Peasy.

Thanks ill check this out!
3  Nintendo Talk / NINTENDO VS. FORUM / Sanyo 20-EZV in VS Unisystem on: August 04, 2016, 09:46:36 am
So I had the back off of my VS unisystem as I had to drill the lock on it when I bought it. I paid movers to move it from my storage unit (where it worked fine) into my new house. I can only assume one of the movers grabbed the back of the monitor frame to steady the game as he went down the stairs and knocked the neck board with his fingers as the tube is now snapped off. I discovered this the first time I went to power it on when the game sounded like a bomb going off and the neck shot purple sparks instead of neck glow . Does anyone know of a donor tube for this monitor? Or a place to get a replacement?

Thanks

Thanks for the info, especially listing the model numbers I'm going to look into that for sure, that seems like a good way to expand my library at least for the games that use the 1 PPU I have

Hello! Long time collector of retro video games with a sizable collection. Decided about a year ago to get into the hobby with 2 games so far, Sinistar and a VS. unisystem.

Kingston Ontario here, just started around the same time as well. Good to see another newbie from Ontario. I hope you have better luck finding things than I seem to, my part of Ontario seems to be pretty scarce for all things retro electronics. Been looking for parts since I got my first game .
8  Tech and Marketplace / For Sale / Wanted / WTB Williams 49 way, VS. games on: March 28, 2016, 09:30:42 am
Hey everyone I have been looking for a Williams 49 way for a while now, and am still looking . Preferably a sinister but an arch rivals would be fine as well, I can always swap the orange ball for a red one as a I can find those parts but not the whole joystick it seems. Also I just got a VS. unisystem and I haven't been able to get any additional games for it, I try to check ebay and klov but they seem to go like wildfire on klov.

Thanks!

Hello everyone, long time John's arcade viewer so I decided to join to forums. I am new to the hobby trying to do my first 2 restores (Upright Sinistar and VS. Unisystem w/ Hogan's alley) and I want to expand the list of games I have since the game options was a big reason I bought a VS. cab but I honestly have a hell of a time finding them where they aren't going for a huge amount of money (ebay) or snatched up within hours of them being posted for sale (klov) anyone have any recommendations where I can find some games for sale, I cant even get Mario ffs .

Thanks!
