1  Tech and Marketplace / I need help with my game! - Technical Discussion / TMNT Turtles in Time Part Blown, Need Replacement on: April 16, 2017, 01:32:44 pm
Hello, I have TMNT Turtles in Time Board that recently blew one of its components, but i am unsure of what the part is, or if there are even replacements without getting another board.

* Board in case not pictured.

To the right of where it says "JAMMA" under the bank of resistors are those thin components that stick out of the board, one of those blew. If memory serves they say "Konami" on them.

What do these do and are there replacements without buying another board?

Thank you.

3  Tech and Marketplace / I need help with my game! - Technical Discussion / Repaired K7000 not working in original cab on: March 22, 2016, 01:31:16 am
Hello, I have a K7000 chassis i recently got repaired by a reputable community member.

It needed a voltage regulator and a HV shutdown pot that was cracked, i also did a cap kit and flyback replacement on it prior to the repairs.

I got it back, hooked all the connections in correctly, it was working 100% on the repairmans test rig, but it wont fire up in the original cab that i pulled it from.

It did work prior to the repairs but had a squigly white line going down the middle of the screen, thus i sent it out for repairs cause i couldnt find the error in it.

I put it in a life force cab that has a K4900 chassis in it normally, it fired up fine, i also put the K4900 chassis in the K7000 cab to make sure the monitor was still good, it fired up fine.

All connections are in the same connections they were prior to being sent out, nothing has changed in the cab, the isolation transformer is being hooked up to the chassis and nothing else.

The chassis is geting 125ish ACV, everything is as it should be inside the cab, yet the K7000 (originally hooked up to a 25 inch monitor) still wont fire up in its original cab.

I have no idea what is causeing it to not fire up in its orignal cab, it worked better before i sent it out, minus the squigly line.

Any thoughts, tips, tricks, things i should look into, anything would be much appreciated.
